Fresh Design Driving Big Revenue Gains

The owners of this Massanutten home purchased in December 2023 and wanted to immediately get the property rented before the end of the year to reap the tax benefits for the 2023 calendar year. We rented it “as is” throughout ski season, then the owners and New School collaborated on the plans for a major renovation in March/April. The new and improved property added a 6th bedroom by converting the game room to a bedroom, and then a utility room to a small game room. All bathrooms were redone, beams were added to the living room, a hot tub and sauna were added, and new furniture/decor throughout. Projected annual revenue pace before the renovation was ~$50k, and now is tracking toward $125k-$150k.
